It was about time that my business needed a make-over.
There is a new logo, website (www.alexandraviolinist.co.uk), new brochures, business cards, cute little bags AND a bookmark which also doubles as a wedding planner guide (my favourite bit). There’s more music too!
I’ve included the old and new logo’s for you to see below…there’s no comparison. I LOVE my new logo 😀 eep
Why did you rebrand ‘Alexandra’?
I wanted my business to show my personal growth, within the brand and to represent the new me. I have changed a lot over the past few years and I suppose you do change a lot in your 20’s. I read somewhere that the decade in your life in which you change the most as a person is your 20’s. There have been some big life changing events which in all honesty made me grow up and realise what was really important to me in life.
What do you want to get out of it?
The past two years my business has taken a bit of a back seat whilst I concentrated on my immediate family, as I was caring for my Mum full time. She was diagnosed with cancer. I only did what I needed to do to keep my business going in terms of advertising and kept my clients in the loop so that they knew what was happening. I was also studying for a degree in Business Management. Talk about ‘full on’ haha, I was knackered!! But amongst all of this, I really felt ,that I needed to look after my Mum and that became my life purpose.
I graduated last year and was going to carry on up the educational ladder, but I want to really just concentrate on building up my business and giving it the love, care and attention that it needs.
What does the future hold?
Lots of excitement. I love my job, it’s my entire life, and it’s not just for me anymore. I am part of a family now, who I am so proud of. In October last year, Lee asked me to marry him and made me the happiest woman in the entire world, and he has a beautiful little girl who I absolutely adore. We get married in 2017 and have just bought a house together EEP.
So I am now on the other side of the ‘Weddings’ strand of my business, I’m a Bride too!!!
I want to make my family proud: Lee, his little girl and my Dad.
My Dad has been a rock to me and Mum. I want to show him what I can make from what they both taught me as parents.
What has the reaction been like?
The reaction has been incredible. Overwhelming in fact. I took my new branding and promotional materials to Wedding Fairs, which is where most of my advertising takes place. One in particular, the ‘I DO Magazine’, Wedding Show at Leeds United earlier this month was I.N.S.A.N.E. I packed up two massive boxes of ‘Alexandra’ bags thinking I would return home with one box full, and was stripped dry by 4pm, thirty minutes before the show ended. I’m now taking bookings into 2019 *slaps forehead*
I have to thank the people around me for all of the support that they have given me because without them I don’t think that I would have had the strength to get to where I am now, or it would have taken me a lot longer.
I wasn’t going to do personal thank you’s but stuff it, I bloody am 🙂
Thank you to…
All of Dads family
Mums big sister Lynne
All of my Mums friends & Colleagues
My best friends…Gina, Amy, Alison, Emma, Robynne, Sam, James

My Fiancé Lee & his truly wonderful family
I could name so many more people. I love you all
Quote by Liam from Attract
“Working with Alexandra has been brilliant. She is incredibly focused and talented, we wanted to help her create an identity that she would be proud of and give her that strong platform to build her brand. Every element suits Alexandra down to the ground, from the White, Black and Gold to the stunning photography from Aaron Cheeseman [Ched53] – classy, creative, powerful, emotional and personal. It’s a new ‘grown up’ identity and we can’t wait to see where it takes her.”
Here’s a photo of my new promotional materials. I love them!
Bye for now xxx
